And ahhh another Howl's Moving Castle fan! Woot!

Okay, the color is done like this with photoshop. You add another layer, and for that layer, next to opacity, where it says "normal," change it to color and then you can do gradients on the a BW drawing. And poof, you've got a colored one instead.
